Skylight Teabowl by Celia Dowson

£420.00

These pieces explore Material Memory, captured in glass through its material fluidity. Molten glass flows into shape, contained within the boundaries of form through wave-like movements. Each piece reflects its making process; areas are left exposed and raw, ‘droplets in glass’, or polished to accentuate colour depth and material glow. Each object is also a reflection of the non-visual memories we create over time; the object lives on, and the stories it holds will enrich.’
