Mizuyo's cylinder vase series, 'Core Vases’, is inspired by vintage English Stoneware jars. The collection explores the properties of different clays on the wheel. Mizuyo's objects have a range of textures and colours through the application or absence of glazes. The composition of each group is made by contrasting the colour, size, tone and texture.
